Fiber 101
The Fiber 101 program can be used as a prep course or as a renewal program! This program reviews the basic principles of fiber optics and can help prep students for their CFOS/D and CFOT programs and exams. The hours from this program can also be used to renew current IMSA/FOA Certified Fiber Optics Technician certifications.

- It is beneficial for students who don’t have their CFOT or perhaps would just like a quick refresher on the basics of Fiber Optic Cable handling, splicing and testing for an upcoming program.
- It is particularly helpful for students enrolled in the Certified Fiber Optics Technician (CFOT) and Certified Fiber Optics Design - Specialist (CFOS/D) programs because the basic principles discussed in the program are the foundation for those programs and their exams.
