Mike Berens

I have been a Moderator/Instructor for my County Traffic Crews over 30 years. Having 53 employees, we held monthly safety meetings and equipment training. With over 30 years experience in the Traffic field, I have a great deal of personal knowledge in Maintenance and Construction work sites.

Ray Gorman

I am currently an Instructor for Advance and Intermediate Temporary Traffic Control (Maintenance of Traffic) and a moderator numerous International Municipal Signal Association programs. 

Rich Shea

My name is Rich Shea and I am a Construction PM for ITS and Signals.

I have been in the industry for 15 years now and have worked in various states here in the US and worked in Riyad Saudi Arabia on a 350 intersections upgrade and re-build project. My work mostly has to do with the building or upgrading of intersections and ITS systems.

 

Sheldon Primus

Sheldon is a dual American and Guyanese citizen with a passion for his culture.


He is a Certified Occupational Safety Specialist with a Masters of Public Administration with a concentration in Environmental Policy. He has been in the environmental and occupational safety field since 1994. Additionally, he is a trainer for the Certified Occupational Safety Specialist program of the Alliance Safety Council-Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Sheldon is an authorized OSHA General Industry and Construction trainer for the 10 and 30-hour Outreach program.

Mr. Primus is a guest columnist for the online publications of Treatment Plant Operator (TPO) and WaterOnline. He has written article regarding regulatory compliance, operator safety, and wastewater process control. Additionally, he conducts OSHA compliance webinars for Audio Solutionz, Online Compliance Panel, Compliance Online, Compliance World, Edupliance, and Compliance Key.

Currently, Sheldon is the Executive Director of a 501(c)(3) nonprofit National Environmental and Occupational Safety Training, Inc. (NEOSTI) and CEO of ShelBrough Safety, LLC, an international safety consulting, training, and a regulatory agency compliance assistance company. He has presented safety topics at the Louisiana Governors Safety Expo, Florida Water Resource Conference, Florida Pest Management Association, and the South Florida Chapter of ASSE.

Mr. Primus served as part of the Water Environmental Federation (WEF) Water Sector Safety Committee and the US Department of Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) taskforce on All Hazards Communication training for the Water and Wastewater Sector. Moreover, Sheldon has served as a Subject Matter Expert for Health Safety Institute, 360 Training, and Red Vector Learning for General Industry and Construction OSHA courses.

Tom Collins

My name is Tom Collins and I would like to tell you a little about my myself. First of all, I am retired. I travel around the country delivering Fiber Optic Programs for organizations such as The Fiber Optic Association, International Municipal Signaling Association, and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.  I have been in the electrical and telecommunication field for over 40 years and a retired College Professor for 28+ years of instruction.

Tyson Evatz

I've been with Pinellas County Transportation for 20 years managing the Signal Operations, Signs and Markings, and ITS Systems. Before that I managed the Traffic Department for a Municipality near Cleveland Ohio for 11 years .
