Others who may be interested in the course include network owners, IT personnel, facilities managers, network designers, estimators or other technicians involved in the design or installation of fiber networks.

This program is designed to introduce the designer or manager to the process of fiber optic network design and the implementation of that design in a real-world project. This program is not intended to be an entry level program. Students should have the IMSA/FOA Certified Fiber Optics Technician certification OR experience in fiber plant installation and testing knowledge.
