This comprehensive training program equips participants with the essential knowledge, skills, and field practices needed to serve as a Traffic Signal Inspector on construction projects. Trainees will learn to oversee and document the installation of traffic signal infrastructure while ensuring compliance with safety regulations, construction standards, and design specifications. Key topics include pre-construction coordination, inspection routines, maintenance of traffic (MOT/TTC), cabinet and conduit installation, fiber and wire pulling, ADA compliance, and testing protocols (FAT, PIT, SAT, and operational tests). Emphasis is placed on field documentation, stakeholder communication, safety enforcement, and project closeout procedures. Graduates will be prepared to uphold public safety and quality assurance across multi-phase signal construction projects.
